The Hanoi Xam Art Club inherits the quintessence of Chieu Xam Xuan Hoach – Hanoi UNESCO Traditional Music Club. The predecessor is Chieu Xam Xuan Hoach. Established in 2015, the Club has been operating for nearly a decade, contributing to the preservation and spreading of Xam singing in contemporary life.

Through the process of development and affirming its position, by 2023, the Hanoi City Cultural Center decided to establish Hanoi Xam Art Club. The core of the Club is the excellent students of People’s Artist Xuan Hoach – a master of Xam singing, who has made great contributions to the restoration and development of this art form. Under People’s Artist Xuan Hoach’s professional counsel, the Club continues to maintain, create and spread the unique values of Xam to the public, contributing to the preservation of the nation’s intangible cultural heritage.
